Although I've posted videos from this guy before, Basshunter is definitely not someone to pass-up if you like techno music. This one is pretty fast paced and gets you amped to do something (whatever that may be I'll leave up to you).

Those crazy Romanians!

Sorry for the lack of updates recently. Work has been a bit hectic.

So here's some music from those crazy folks over in Romania who I must say have some decent songs!

The first video is from a group known as Akcent. The first song of theirs I heard was called "Kylie" which is a great song (actually posted below). This song, however, has been played several times on Soundic Radio and its pretty catchy! Its called Jokero

And of course, I couldn't mention dance music from Romania without mentioning the internet phenom's O-Zone!!!! Dont know how people heard about them but there are countless videos on the net of people video-taping themselves singing the song or being caught singing the song ;) Its weird at first but damn does it grow on you fast....

The Emerald Isle

On my first visit to Ireland (for work no less) I was amazed at how remote everything really was. I had imagined all the small little towns and such but never realized how small the towns would actually be :)

It was a beautiful country but one thing I learned about Europe is DEFINITELY try to stay in a reputable hotel. The rooms are not terrible, but they are incredibly small. Yeah I may sound like a hotel snob and guess what...I am!! I blame that on work, though. In any case, out of the 5 television stations that came in on the TV (one being in Gaelic so couldn't really watch that), one was a music television style station. I heard a few good songs but 2 in particular stood out in my mind.

This first one is by Brian McFadden and its called Demons. The scenes it was shot in looked like the Cliffs of Moher (which I visited that trip...beautiful place!!!). Decent song too :)



This other song just got stuck in my head forever. Its not particularly good but Im just amazed that booby flashin Geri Haliwell is still attempting to sing after her stint with the lovely Spice Girls:

If only all music videos were like this...

If they were, I'd definitely be watching more MTV!!! But alas, as we all know MTV has about 1 hour per day of music videos while the rest is filled with absolute CRAP programming (except for TRUE LIFE and MADE...those are great shows).

Anyway, here's another cool song/video for you to all enjoy! Although I dont know what the hell they are saying the song is pretty catchy and it is the SAME beat as that song from back in the 90s by Snow called Informer...remember? It was by that white guy who apparently thought he was Jamaican and that he could rap (Vanilla Ice wanna be or something).

England Likes it Loud

Remember that awesome movie "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation"? Yeah well for those that enjoyed the movie...Im sorry you simply have no taste. The soundtrack on the other hand was very good and introduced some great bands to me. One of them being a DJ that goes by the name of Scooter. He's put out a ton of CDs and while not all of the songs are good, there are quite a few I've listened to that are very good. If you can get by his attempts at singing (more like talking) then you will enjoy the underlying music.

Im feeling the Ecstasy

While cruising through tv stations a little while ago, I came across a re-run of that show "America's Got Talent." Besides the Hoff's dismal critique of the performers (like he can talk really), one of the songs that was played during a performance was quite nice. After doing some research, I found a posting on some random message board citing the song as [b]Ecstasy by ATB[/b]. I just remembered it the other day for some random ass reason and figured I'd share it with others who haven't heard it before....so in any case here it is!

I think I might have found a purpose for this bit of internet blog gold! Since I find it so difficult sometimes to find new music, I've decided to post up songs/artists (and videos where possible, obviously noted below) that I like and want the rest of the world to enjoy as well.

So I'll get to making the first short list ASAP. Until then....just wait :)
